Sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession
Our Confessionals are located at the left rear wing of the Church.
For Saturday Sunset Mass & Sunday Masses, confessions are heard 15 minutes before
each mass.
For Evening Masses during weekdays, please arrange to see a priest well before commencement
of Mass.

Sacrament of Infant Baptism
Infant Baptism is held at 4.30pm on every 1st Sunday of the month.
Preparatory classes are held on Thursdays, 8pm in the week before Baptism day. Venue
is St Michael's Room, Level 2. Preparatory classes are compulsory for Parents and
Godparents of the soon-to-be baptized baby.

Sacrament
of Holy Matrimony
Couples intending to get married at Church of the Risen Christ are required to book
the Church at least 6 months prior to their wedding.
Please note that they will also need to finalize all their wedding arrangements/give
any contributions to the Church SIX (6) months prior to their wedding. No Wedding
celebrations are held during the Lenten period (Mid May to Mid April).
You may wish to visit our Matrimony Guide
before coming to the Parish Office to submit the required documents. Our Parish
Secretary will then advise you on all the other relevant issues with regard to your
wedding celebrations and provide other necessary admin forms. Please note our Parish
Secretary's working hours. (Off on Tuesdays, Mondays – Saturdays: 1.30pm -
8.30pm; Sundays 1.30pm -7.30pm)

Children's Liturgy
Through a separate Liturgy of the Word for children, the Children's Liturgy Committee
aims to introduce young children (from 4 to 10 years of age) to important aspects
of God's message. They do this by allowing them to celebrate God's word at their
own pace, giving them the opportunity to offer their thoughts and reflections, following
the pattern of normal congregational liturgy.
Children Liturgy is held on every 2nd Sunday of the month during the 11.30am mass,
while the Children's Liturgy in mandarin is conducted during the 8.15am mandarin
mass.

Catechism Classes 2007
Parents who wish to enroll their children for catechism classes are requested to
contact the Catechist Ministry or
make the necessary arrangements at the Catechist office, St Clare's Room, 2nd Level,
New extension building during the following hours:
Opening Hours: Saturdays: 2pm - 4.45pm Sundays: 2pm - 3.30pm
Primary Level
Saturday (2 sessions):
Session I 2pm to 3.15pm
Session II 3.30pm to 4.45pm
Sunday (1 session):
2pm to 3.15pm
Secondary Level

Rites of Christian Initiation for Youths (RCIY) & Adults (RCIA)
Registration for RCIA and RCIY are usually conducted in the month of March - April.
The programme last for 12 months with those wishing to enter the Catholic Faith
being baptized in the following year, on the eve of Easter Sunday.
For Youths (RCIY) : Registration for
RCIY Journey 2006/2007 is closed with Baptism scheduled for Easter 2007. Please
wait for the bulletin announcements regarding RCIY Journey 2007/2008 in the month
of March - April 2007.
For Adults (RCIA) : Registration for
RCIA Journey 2006/2007 is closed with Baptism scheduled for Easter 2007. Please

For Mandarin-speaking Adults (RCIA) : Registration for RCIA (Mandarin)

Fr Louis Loiseau conducts a bible class every Friday, from 4pm - 5pm at St Joseph’s
Room, Ground Level.

F.R.E.E. (Faith Renewal, Exploration and Evangelisation)
F.R.E.E. is
a Faith Formation Ministry that offers all Catholics the opportunity to grow in
their faith and in fellowship with parishioners. Our activities include video nights
and sharing to help one another to live the faith in our daily lives.

Charismatic Prayer Meetings
The Charismatic Prayer Group conducts
their prayer meetings every Mondays at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall. There will be
lively praise and worship, sharing of scripture, ministering, testimonies, petitions
and fellowship. All are welcome.
The Charismatic Prayer Group also offers intercessory, ministering and counseling
support on Wednesdays. Parishioners are invited to deposit their prayer requests
into the petitions box located outside the parish hall or email to
risenchristcpg@catholic.org.

of Jesus
The devotion is held every Friday, immediately after the 6pm mass.

The Grotto Prayer Group conducts the rosary and short prayers after the morning
mass, from Mondays to Saturdays. All are welcome.

Counselling Services by Family Life Society (FLS)
Since 1 Feb 2007, trained lay counsellors from Family Life Society (FLS) have made themselves available
twice a week in the evenings to offer a listening ear and advice to our parishioners.
They will be at our church on Wednesday & Thursday evenings, in St Joseph’s
Room. Please call them directly at 6382 0688 for more info or to make an appointment.

Risen Christ Free Legal Clinic
Free legal consultations are provided on every 2nd Monday of the month
fm 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at Level 3 of the Building Extension. For those seeking legal
consultations, please do sign up beforehand through our Parish Secretary to book
a slot. This will also enable the Advisers to prepare in advance & effectively
address the issues & concerns you may have.
The Risen Christ Free Legal Clinic is operated by the Catholic Lawyers Guild with approval and support from our
Parish Pastoral Council.

The Library Team maintains a wide
range of books, CDs and VCDs meant for your spiritual enrichment. You are cordially
invited to check out the wide range of materials available for loan. The Library
is located next to the Parish Secretariat.

memorabilia of our parish community to the Archive. Maintained by the Archival Committee
of the Risen Christ Media Team , we welcome
any contribution, great or small.
Please bring your contribution to the parish office and submit it together with

Charity Corner
Located at the back of the church, the Society
of St Vincent De Paul (SSVP) operates the Charity Corner with the aim of
raising funds for the needy. Parishioners with saleable used items are kindly encouraged
to donate them for a good cause.
Likewise, those looking for a good buy may find the Charity Corner a good place
to start. Please give the Charity Corner your support.

The Canteen gives parishioners the opportunity to interact and mingle with one another,
while having a convenient meal within the premises of the Church. The Canteen offers
