Description
The members of ICYM are from all over Singapore ie they are from different parishes. Currently, we have a strength of 15 members of which the average agew ranges from 15 to 25 years old.
ICYM is given the task to be fully in charge of the Liturgy for the Tamil masses and our Lady of Velankanni Feast in the Church of Risen Christ.
ICYM also prepares the themes and readings for the feast of Velankanni. To promote spiritual growth, we organize retreats, rallies, and youth masses. ICYM also organizes an annual Christmas carolling to houses of parishioners. Role of Ministry
To bring together young catholic teens and adults to disover the joy of serving Christ and his church.
Who can join
To bring and share the love of Jesus Christ to the Indian community through indian youths. To train youths in the Tamil Liturgy for Tamil masses and the Annual Our Lady of Velamkanni Feast in the Church of Risen Christ.
Frequency of meeting
Once a month for General Meeting.
