Rosary Procession

About 530 parishioners turned up for the rosary procession on Friday, 3 May in honor of Mother Mary. The procession is held every year in the month of May, the month dedicated to Mary. The procession held at the Parish of The Risen Christ is nowhere as large as the one at Novena Church, but our parishioners took part in it with no less gusto and devotion.

The weather was fine, just the perfect day for a candle-light procession. Parishioners recited the rosary as they moved around the perimeter of the Church compound and ended up at the grotto where Father John Sim crowned the statue of our Lady. After that, the closing hymn was sung followed by the final blessings given by Father John.
