Cantate Domino

Description
Formed in year 2002, the Cantate Domino Choir (CDC) sings weekly at the Sunday 11.30 am mass at the Church of the Risen Christ. The choir comprises of youths and working adults.

Besides doing regular church hymns, the choir strives to draw from other rich sacred repertoire of music from plainsong chant to present day music including spirituals and gospel music. Regular composers include Mozart, Franck, Bach, Handel and Rutter.

Enjoyment is the key to success of CDC. The members who sing do it because they have fun singing together. It is a great opportunity to make new friends and grow in your spiritual life as well.

Role of Ministry
To support Congregational singing in the Liturgy by the use of Liturgical songs/hymns of the Roman Catholic Church.

Who can join
If you are aged 16-35, and committed to serve God and His people with your passion for music and singing, you are invited to join us to inspire congregational worship in the Holy Mass. An audition will be conducted to determine suitability.
