The Lectors Ministry appreciates the responsibility of being entrusted to proclaim the Word of God and serving as an instrument of God's grace so that the Scriptures may come alive for those who hear it.
We are humbled by the privilege to serve in the liturgical celebrations and constantly strive to better ourselves to proclaim the Word of God effectively and grow in our understanding of the Scriptures.
We welcome members of our parish community who have a love for the Scriptures and those who possess the presentation and communication skills to proclaim the Word of God to join us in our Ministry.
Role of Ministry
To proclaim the Word of God during the most Blessed Eucharistic Celebrations.
Who can join
All who have a love of the Scriptures. Possess presentation & communication skills to proclaim the Word of God.
Frequency of duties
Frequency may vary depending on the availability of lectors and the number of masses in any given month. Generally between once to three times per month.

Frequency of meetings

Breaking of the Word sessions – Held weekly to correspond to each weekend’s readings. Each lector is to attend the session corresponding to the weekend which the rostered duty falls under.

General meetings – Bimonthly and generally on Thursdays at 8 pm (not on a fixed date).
