Legion of Mary - Mother of Peace

Members become instruments of the Holy Spirit through a program of prayer and service.
Works include parishioner visitation; visit the sick, handicapped, and elderly in their homes, hospitals, or institutions; promote religious devotion through home rosary; evangelization; religious education and meeting the other spiritual needs of the parish community.
Legionaries are under the guidance of a spiritual director.
Role of Ministry
To increase the personal holiness of its members through the imitation of the virtues of Mary as well as to foster a deeper devotion to Jesus, through Mary, among all people, and to undertake various apostolic works
Who can join
All practicing Catholics, men and women, married or single, who wish to play their full part as lay members of the Church, and who are prepared to follow the Legion system. For membership of an adult group the candidate must be over 21 years of age.
