The Missioners completed the first week of the Parish Mission successfully. The ten priests visited the homes in Lorong 1 Toa Payoh and ToaPayoh North from Monday 4 April 2016 to Thursday 7 April 2016. The Neighbourhood Christian Community Mass and fellowship for all the homes was held on Friday 8 April 2016.

Madam Gwen who lives in Toa Payoh North said that it was nice of the priest to come and visit her home. She is now able to know other Catholic families residing in her block and her neighbourhood. Mr Noah who resides in Lorong 1 Toa Payoh felt that the Friday session is wonderful to bring all families together as one family and participating in the sharings. Mr Gil, a Filipino, who is from Toa Payoh North, felt grateful for the Church to organize the Parish Mission and especially the mass and fellowship on Friday. He suggested a longer period of time for the sharings which he felt developed a bonding of the members in his group.

Father Eugene Lee said the families were very supportive and enthusiastic. He said the camaraderie spirit was there on Friday. Brother Albert said that it is good to see families of different nationalities and languages coming together and living their faith.

All glory and praise to God Almighty!
