" A few weeks after Parish Mission came to a close, our 1ST NCC gathering was held at Bishan St. 12 in the home of Eva & Paul Hwee on 21st July 2016. Out of 20 plus families, thirteen came for the prayers at 8:30 pm. In fact, a few came straight from work. Some came with snacks, fruits and drinks!

It started with a short prayer, a recitation of Rosary with a reflection at each mystery and ending with Hymns and Praise and Worship. Even a teenage boy offered to say a decade of the rosary! It was a warm and spontaneous gathering, a few neighbours had a pleasant surprise not knowing that they live in the same block all these years! A supposedly one hour gathering lasted for over two hours.

Now we have our NCC group chat line. Over the next few days, we discussed how many times to meet in a month. One suggested once a month, while another suggested twice in a month. Those who were absent due to work roster, are looking forward to the next gathering. One parishioner has offered to be the photographer for future gatherings as we missed taking any pictures during the first gathering. We welcome parishioners who live near blocks 117 to 127 to join us for future gatherings. "
