The Divine Mercy Devotion Group of the Church of the Risen Christ has recently been honoured by the visit of the relic of St. Faustina. She is known as the secretary of the Divine Mercy. The relic was venerated after the evening mass last 6 November 2007.

The relic was brought to Singapore by Dr. Ofelia S. Vega in coordination with Mr. George Ng, leader of the Divine Mercy Devotion Group of the Church of Risen Christ.

"I've always dreamed of visiting the Divine Mercy Shrine of the Philippines after learning about it in the internet," says George, "and I didn't expect that doors would be opened after I was approached by Cynthia (a devotee here in RC) and mentioned that Ofelia is coming to Singapore with the relic. I guess it's an affirmation of my desire to visit the Philippines." George added, " I also hope that because of this, there will be more devotees especially in the younger generations so people will know Him more."

The relic was taken back to its shrine at Ligao, Albay, Philippines.
