In commemoration of Children's Day this year, the catechism students at the Church of the Risen Christ attended Mass together with their classes at the 11.30am Sunday Mass. The Mass for the primary level students was on the 27th of September and for the secondary level students the next week on the 5th of October.

The Masses were celebrated by Fr John Sim and Fr Valerian Cheong respectively. The students participated in the mass as lectors, wardens and also during the Offertory. It was also a special day during the Mass on the 27th September for a group of students who received their first Holy Communion. 

Before the end of the Mass, the students gave a performance of the popular Praise and Worship song, "Every Move I Make".
