    Draw people to Christ
Jesus instructed the twelve disciples to go out, with almost nothing, no food nor money, with just the clothes on their backs. To live simply with humility. Jesus had always lived with great humility, from his birth to his death on the cross. It is one of the key factor of being Jesus’ follower. The disciples had to depend on the mercies and kindness of the people. To know that their needs would be provided. To speak to the people about Jesus, about the miracles made possible with Jesus in our lives, without the distractions that materialism could bring. Just like Jesus continues to call to us to actively share about our faith, that Jesus is our Lord, King of a kingdom beyond our imagination, with treasures that would not clutter up our lives and lead us away from God. As always, we are frequently reminded that God’s kingdom is not of this world, it is filled with treasures such as acceptance, acknowledgment, kindness, hope, compassion, love. Share about how all these have made a difference in our own lives and bring each other closer to Christ.
