Church of The Risen Christ

By means of the passion, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have been saved. Our old self is gone and we have become a new creature in the Lord. As disciples of Christ, we are in the world but not of the world. We have been called and sent to gather in the harvest. Jesus said in Luke 10:2, “The harvest is rich but the labourers are few, so ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to his harvest.” Just as the Father has sent Him, so our Lord Jesus has sent us out like lambs among wolves. Yet we are not alone in this journey but for those who obey Him, Jesus’ constant love, peace and mercy are with us. He has given us the authority to proclaim the kingdom of God and to tread underfoot serpents and scorpions and the enemy. Let us not be afraid and wait any longer but fulfil the mission that God has given us to make disciples of all nations.
