3 January 2016 ( Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord )
A bright star to shine upon us all
No matter who we are, whether we are kind or spiteful, generous or not, God does not discriminate nor favours one above the other.

He wants us all to seek Him out, to pay Him homage, to prostrate ourselves before Him, to transform ourselves wholly without reservations.
It is not the complicated journey that we may believe it to be, even though we know that the Kingdom of God is not easy to attain.

Do we seek the Lord Jesus within the people we meet, or do we see with the eyes of men, of Herod, who became greatly troubled hearing about the birth of Jesus?

Do we tend to turn to other means of finding Jesus, that is, going from church to church, pilgrimage after pilgrimage, serving in multiple ministries, but still feel empty inside?

Have we given away all we can, as the three kings did, to simply fill our hearts with Him so that we can then share Him as a light for all, to shine over the darkness that may cover us, from without and within?
