Be prepared
Christians are called to live holy and blameless lives so that when the end comes,
we will be nimble enough to make the transit from this material world into the next world.

If we live careless lives, meaning if we are addicted to pleasure and materialism,
we may have unfinished business that we are not prepared to let go of.

The best way to prepare ourselves is to daily live out the precepts of the gospel.
God is fair and sends signs and warnings to everyone when He is about to bring the world to an end.

But people who are apathetic, cynical and spiritually blind will miss the signs.
Christians who are attuned to God’s voice will be able to pick the signals as easily as the farmer
who is able to tell that summer is near just by noticing the buds on the fig tree.

Those who have been living loose lives will panic as they struggle with their last-minute preparations.
But for God’s faithful, who have been preparing their whole lives for the moment, there’s nothing else to do but to let go.
