Ask, Seek, Knock

How persistent are we in our prayers, do we persist in the way Abraham went on pressing God to spare the cities? Do we give up because God did not answer our prayer? But what did we pray for? Jesus taught us how to pray, it did not have things like praying for a job, a good fortune, healing from sickness etc. How did prayers become converted into bargains, that only if God answered our prayers would we be faithful to Him? Perhaps we should ask Him what it is that He wants to give us. Pray sincerely, with humility and great love so that we can hear His voice above all others.

Look for Him and finding Him in every person we meet, and pray fervently for their salvation as Abraham had pleaded for the people of Sodom & Gomorrah.

Continue knocking and asking for the grace to be let in the door of salvation ourselves, to have the strength and courage to live a life that is exemplary of one

that is baptized and worthy of God’s forgiveness for all our transgressions.
