Like A Mustard Seed

All beginnings are small. A ‘yes” is all that is needed for God to begin to help us nourish our soul, to make it grow into maturity and come alive. It’s not just a matter of growth but a steady transformation. Like a caterpillar becoming a butterfly. The movements are so iniscule, molecule by molecule until the magnificent butterfly emerges. Sometimes, our growth may seem like a struggle, as we meet with temptations and challenges, but they can make us stronger, as long as we stay true to God’s teaching. We cannot sit on the fence and just be spectators. We need to be in the game, and aim to win over injustice, violations of basic human rights, destruction of innocent lives. Our God is a loving God for He understands our struggle. He gives us until the end of time to decide while never giving up His call to conversion. Let’s not waste this wonderful opportunity to be part of a Kingdom that can transform us into the glorious image of God. Let’s decide, what seed are we? Are we wheat or weeds?
