Made For Love

Love is the centre of Christian living. We have all been created in the image of God who is love, to love God “with all our hearts, all our mind and all our soul”. This love for our God must be expressed as our love for others, for our neighbours. There is an unavoidable connection between what we do to our neighbours and what we do to God. So declare this by helping those who are in need, the poor, marginalized, orphans, abandoned, lonely, exploited, and the most oppressed in our community. Fight for justice, for the rights and dignity of the least in our community, those who may be unable and powerless to help themselves. Bring solace and comfort to those in our immediate family and friends, so that they may experience God’s love by finding a true home with us. For we and our neighbours are one family; thus give them what they need generously, without expecting anything in return, just as God continues to shower us amazing bounties beyond our imagination without asking repayment from us.
