BEHIND THE SCENES

Organizing a festival and exhibition takes a lot of hard work and planning. And so it became when the Exco decided to hold such an event to celebrate Lay Apostolate Sunday right here within the church compound.

The planning committee, consisting of members from RCIY, NCC, and CDC, started meetings in early July to brainstorm ideas, discuss and organise. The event's theme "Come Build a Vibrant Church," aims to display the parish's active and lively spirit.  Additionally, it aims to encourage greater participation in ministries among its parishioners.

The Saints' Gallery is taking shape! Parishioners arrived on Saturday morning to prepare the Patron Saints posters to be displayed at the Lay Apostolate Festival & Exhibition. These patron saints are saints adopted by every parish ministry.  As the Saints' Gallery will be setup outside the priests' office area, Veronica devised a clever method to present some of the posters in a boxed style so that they can be displayed in the center of the area. While a lot of effort went into the task, it was the synergy of teamwork and the prevalence of infectious laughter that truly defined the day. Members spanning various ministries and age groups came together to contribute to the upcoming event.
