Rite of Christian Initiation

for Adults (RCIA)

Description

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) prepares one to come into full communion with God and the Catholic Church through a year long process broken up into four phases, namely Pre-Catechumenate, Catechumenate, Purification and Enlightenment, and Mystagogy.

Role of Ministry

To bring people to Jesus, and in so doing, live out our discipleship by being “fishers of men”.

Who can join

We welcome baptized, practicing adult Catholics who would journey with Enquirers (people seeking the faith) as a Sponsor by sharing their faith stories with others.

Meetings

    • Weekly sessions are every Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9.45pm in the Parish Hall.
    • Monthly Sponsor meetings are every 4th Thursday of the month from 8pm to 9.30pm.
