RCIY

Description

The RCIY serves a similar function as the RCIA in that our primary purpose of existence is to journey with enquirers with a view to being baptised. This journey involves two main aspects: The first is educating them on the fundamental beliefs and practises of the Catholic Church in the hope that what we impart will act as a stepping stone as they begin their faith journey. The other function the RCIY serves is to be the enquirers’ first experience of a Catholic community. Through the sessions, we teach them what our faith is all about, and through the relationships built, we demonstrate how to live our faith.

Role of Ministry

To educate non-Catholics on the pillars of our faith and to guide them towards the Sacrament of Baptism.

Who can join

Anyone between the ages of 15 and 25.
